10th Anniversary
10th Anniversary
It’s hard to believe we’ve been manufacturing guitar amps for 10 years. We’ve weathered a recession,(going on two), four moves, and a flood that nearly ended our company. It’s been a bumpy ride, but today Two-Rock is alive and well. And we’re celebrating our 10th year in business by offering an entirely new platform. Combining features of several of our previous models, Our 10th Anniversary Amplifier provides a clean channel with incredible range and plenty of gain on tap. For soloing, our new lead channel design will appeal to guitarists of all styles-from just slightly driven, to mid- gain, soft or aggressive- it’s all here.
The Two-Rock 10th Anniversary 50 watt tube rectified version offers Class A or Class AB operation. The 100 watt version has power settings of 50 or 100 watts. We’ve implemented our PAF(Patent Applied For) Reverb circuit for the first time in a production amp. We’ve eliminated completely the tone loss and clean signal loading found in virtually every other tube reverb circuit in use today. This In addition, there are independent reverb send and return controls for each channel.
The 10th Anniversary also features separate contour controls for both the clean and lead channels. At the twelve o’clock position, the amp’s frequency response is flat. Rotating the knob counter-clockwise, will decrease the highs and increase the lows, and vice-versa for clockwise movement. This is ideal for switching between single coils and humbuckers without touching other controls or compensating for different speaker cabinets. It’s also a great way to compensate for room acoustics without changing your entire preamp EQ.

After consulting with numerous artists, Bill Krinard set out to develop an amp that would deliver Two-Rock performance and the feel of a vintage amp – all in one amp. What he and his team developed is a fully adjustable Two-Rock front-end with the feel and forgiveness of a classic blackface amplifier. This tone should be familiar to nearly every guitar player, yet has the refinements of a Two-Rock.
Features:
- We designed this amp to balance nicely with your guitar, making the interaction between the tone and volume pot on the guitar a more seamless interaction with the Gain and Master controls on the amp.
- The Clean Gain, Master, and Reverb are grouped together, and the OD Gain, OD Master and OD Reverb are also grouped together for ease of use.
- The Presence control has been refined for a broader EQ range.
- The Tube Tremolo is the same classic circuit we created for the Matt Schofield Signature amplifier.
- We’ve created a “Tone Boost.” This switch is a secondary EQ setting that will increase overall gain on both channels, essentially creating a boost on the tone stack (unlike our traditional Bypass that bypasses the tone stack altogether.)
- The cabinet design has also been optimized with a new wood type. During development we experimented with several different types of wood and settled on a furniture grade poplar ply that brought the amp to life with a more percussive and lively sonic quality.

Classic Reverb (2007-2016)
Classic Reverb (2007-2016)
The latest edition to the Classic Series is the Classic Reverb. Using the Sterling Signature and John Mayer Signature amps as our guide, we’ve added a few features to enable the guitarist to tailor his clean from super squeaky hi-fi clean all the way to edgy, medium distortion. We’ve purposely tweaked the input stages to enhance distortion pedal performance. A sophisticated all tube spring reverb is included, featuring 3 voicings, plus individual send and return controls. The presence control has been eliminated and a contour control has been added. It’s also a great way to compensate for room acoustics without changing your entire preamp EQ.The additional tone shaping features include a footswitchable FET preamp stage, 3 way preamp (negative) feedback switch, and 3 way output section (negative) feedback switch. The preamp switch offers zero feedback, Custom Reverb feedback level, and ultra hi feedback levels for high output or active pickup optimization. In addition, the output stage can be tailored via a 3 way feedback switch to make the power stage tighter, looser, or more open and responsive.

Classic Type 1
Classic Type 1
The Classic Type 1 speaks with authority. All equalization, tone shaping, sag, and other parameters were chosen by us personally. With strong elements of the Kimock Signature present, seasoned Two-Rock veterans will be fondly remembering the original K&M Custom and Emerald Pro, among others. Even more proprietary components have been added to the list of parts made exclusively for us to continually improve our amps. The lead channel features an externally adjustable input gain trim control, allowing the player to select smooth overdriven tones or add more attack and bite if desired. The presence control has been eliminated and a contour control has been added. At the twelve o’clock position, the amp’s frequency response is flat. Classic Type 2
Classic Type 2
The Classic Type 2 offers a unique approach to the “two amps in one box” concept. Seasoned Two-Rock veterans will be fondly remembering the Opal and Emerald Pro, as the Type 2 offers internal EQ dedicated to the lead channel only.
This feature allows the individual to tailor the lead channel for a variety of pickup/guitar combinations, and truly create completely different clean and lead tones. The lead channel also features an externally adjustable input gain trim control, allowing the player to select smooth overdriven tones or add more attack and bite if desired. A pair of contour controls have been added, independently offering a broad EQ sweep of both clean and lead modes. At the twelve o’clock position, the amp’s frequency response is flat. Custom Reverb Signature V1
Custom Reverb Signature V1
The Custom Reverb Signature is the culmination of everything Bill & Joe have learned since day one. It has a lot of the same features from their early days building amplifiers. The CR Sig has a very refined lead channel that has been tweaked to perfection. Originating in the K&M Custom, this circuit is the most open, least compressed and most articulate and revealing. The Signature also features a dual mode power supply which allows for either 35 watt or 50 watt operation(70/100 watts in the 100 watt version). It has a separate isolated power supply for the reverb, which enhances the reverb effect and prevents loading of the dry signal. In conjunction with our other reverb innovations, you’ll immediately notice a rounder, warmer, less restrictive feel.
The version 2 of the Custom Reverb Signature features further refinements. More proprietary components have been added to the list of parts made exclusively for us to continually improve our amps. The presence control has been eliminated and a contour control has been added. At the twelve o’clock position, the amp’s frequency response is flat.
The effects return level is now internally fixed and there is a reverb send control on the back, similar to the Overdrive Signature. The beauty of this is you can control the amount of signal that goes to the reverb tank, allowing you to go from short to long decay times. The return control(front panel) adds just the right amount of total effect, from subtle to surf.
Finally, the output transformer has also been redesigned. The Custom Reverb Signature V2 has a much wider bandwidth, which along with our refined circuitry and component choices, translates into more articulation, feel, chime, and musicality than ever before.

Custom Reverb Signature V3
Custom Reverb Signature V3
The amp is based on the same platform as the previous versions, but we’ve added some new features to increase the amp’s flexibility. We’ve added an active loop with a “Return Level” and “Pull Bright” function.. Also, you’ll enjoy the dual contours and the ability to order with 6L6’s or EL34’s. The “Pull Mid Defeat” will allow you to scoop the mids, giving the amp a more “fender” style front end.
Emerald 50
Emerald 50
From a versatility standpoint this amp is nearly unmatched by anything else that I have played through. The clean tones are beautiful and varied, and the lead channel is my Nirvana. Not the band mind you, but the blissful state one finds ones self in when the tone is just RIGHT, every time you plug in. I play rock music….remember that genre kids? The amp works for my style of playing better than anything else that I have ever owned or tried.
This is a two channel amp with channel swithing. There are the familier tone controls Bass, Mid, Treble, and presence, but there are also some other tonal options to be had. The amp has a deep switch that adds additional lows and warmth, as well as a bright switch. The extra goodies that I love are the dual eq mode switch, which adds an additional tonal voice to the amp, as well as the EQ defeat which is footswitchable and adds a wonderful lead boost. My all time favorite is the negative feedback loop switch which removes the loop from the amp. BIG thick lead tones is what you will get from this puppy! I leave this switch in the negative feedback loop out position almost exclusively!
Emerald Pro
As with most of the other Two Rock amps this amp is equiped with two 6L6’s. It is the loudest 50 watt amp that I have ever heard. The amp does sound amazing at lower volumes as well. There is an effects loop that can be used in series or parallel. The parallel loop is a bit more tidy in the way that it truly seems to seperate the effects in the loop from the dry guitar tone. There is a heavy duty footswitch provided with the amp that has two switches, one for channel selection, the other for the eq defeat switch. ALL TUBE, big tones, no regrets. Everything from black face to Dumble and all points in between. Did I mention the reverb? BIG!
Emerald ProThe amps noise floor is nearly non-existant, meaning, no buzzes, or ocean sounds kids. As I stated before, the clean channel is black face heaven, but can get as gainy as a bassman if need be. It is thick, rich and dynamic. The lead tone is where the fun begins for me. Huge tones. Big Dumble like girth, but with it’s own voice. There are so many great tones in this amp. Even at extreme gain settings you may control the amp with your right hand picking attack and slight guitar volume changes. Rich Bell like tones ring out of this beast.
The gain channel is so rich and dynamic with so much sustain that I basically sold every pedal on my board that used to provide me with gain tones, and am down to a wawa, a voodoo vibe and a TC 2290 in the loop for a little delay. REALISM. Every boutique amp that I have ever played through that was a dual, or multi-channel amp just sounded FAKE. What am I talking about? Well, have you ever used one of these “boutique” amps at a high gain setting and realized that your tele sounds the same through the amp as say your les paul? Or that you roll off your guitar volume and get mush? Or you pick slightly softer and nothing changes? WELL, that is why DUMBLES sell for 10K. Few if any amp makers capture that magic that is the interaction between the player, the guitar and the amp.
The guys at K and M have done it in spades. If you are looking for an amp to hide behind tonally, this is not it. Go buy something else. If you want an amp that becomes part of your creative link, that is as important to your performance as your favorite guitar, or your left hand, then buy one of these now. Expensive….yes. Are the worth it…..yes again! I have tried, and owned a lot of amplifiers, most of them for a very brief amount of time. I own a Two Rock amethyst, and now a Emerald Pro, and I will not be without this amp ever. By the way, the Two rock amps sound killer with the Two Rock 2-12 cabinet with Fane alnico 100’s. Not enough? Run the amp through an old Marshall cabinet! Killer tones, lots of options, brings out the voice of each guitar that you own.

EXO-15
EXO-15
“How do we deliver legendary Two-Rock cleans with dirty versatility in a streamlined, low wattage package?” That was the challenge faced by Two-Rock.
We thus focused long and hard on the amp exoskeleton. We saw that if we gutted the middle and located all the performance elements at the top and bottom of the chassis we could achieve a uniquely streamlined, high performance look, feel and footprint.
The result is the EXO 15 6V6, tube rectified, class AB amp. In its sleek, exoskeleton designed all-metal chassis this 15 Watt amp gives you peerless Two-Rock cleans with plenty of dirty versatility. Treble, Mid, and Bass controls allow for classic Two-Rock tone shaping while the Gain and Master controls supply just the right amount of clean to dirty ratios. The Contour control was added for extra global frequency shaping. We added pedals to the front input of the amp for even more versatility. Pre Amp Out and Power Amp In jacks on the rear of the amp give you a passive loop for time based effects. 4, 8,and 16 OHM jacks allow you to connect to the EXO 1×12 speaker cab or any cab of your choice.

John Mayer Signature
John Mayer Signature
We are proud to introduce what we humbly consider to be another benchmark amplifier, designed and perfected in collaboration with John Mayer. John has been touring and recording with Two-Rock amps since early 2005, and it was only natural for us to join forces and build him an amp that would meet his specific needs. Based on our Custom Reverb Signature amp, the John Mayer Signature amp is 100 watt, single channel amp with incredible depth, bandwidth, and soundstage.
We have added elements of the Sterling Signature, Overdrive Signature, and Kimock Signature amps to produce pristine cleans with rich harmonics, as well as a sophisticated all tube spring reverb circuit, tuned to John’s ear. We’ve moved the gain and master controls to the far right side of the front panel, separate from the tone controls and reverb, to allow quick adjustment on the fly.A contour control has been added, allowing global fine tuning of overall output EQ. And we’ve finished each unit in gun metal gray carbon fiber covering, black cane grill cloth, and silver piping. Each amp is individually signed by John, and is shipped road-ready in a Calzone road case. Only 25 of these amps will be available.
Quick Facts:
- Gun Metal Gray Carbon Fiber Covering
- Black Cane Grill with Silver Piping
- 100 watts, single channel, 4X6L6
- 4, 8, 16 ohm outputs

- Dimensions: 20″ L x 10″ D x 12″ H / Weight: 48 Lbs.

K&M Custom
K&M Custom
The Custom is our incredibly toneful, dynamic short chassis non-reverb entry. Like the Opal and Topaz, the Custom has 2 channels and 6L6 outputs. The difference lies in the circuitry-a super sweet and creamy response that reveals every soulful nuance of your individual style. Available with or without a buffered effects loop, in 50 or 100 watts.Featuring a somewhat less “stiff” power supply than the Opal and Topaz, the Custom has the ability to create fantastic singing, chimey clean and lead tones at any volume with just the right amount of “give” and compression.
Kimock Signature
Kimock Signature
Once dubbed the “The High Priest of Magical Guitar Tone,” Steve Kimock has teamed up with Bill Krinard to develop the Kimock Signature Amplifier. This incredible tone machine contains a mix of new, old, out of production, and custom components each individually chosen to produce the most toneful, responsive, articulate and musically inspiring Two-Rock amp to date. All told, many hours of research (not including Bill and Steve’s previous experience & collaboration, this is just the parts swapping/listening aspect of the project) went into this amp. As luck would have it, the components chosen include several pieces which are difficult, if not impossible, to find, anywhere. Hence, only 25 units will be available due to parts scarcity.
A friendly, easy to play amp that has an organic feel, hard to quantify in words, but sounds like a great, broken in, harmonically rich amplifier. The Kimock Signature has an incredible lead channel that is very responsive without being compressed or mushy.
Quick Facts:
- 2 channel, cascading, SS Rectifier, 2 X 6L6, 50 watts.
- 4, 8, 16 ohm output, FET input (foot switchable), treble, middle, bass, bright, mid, deep, dual EQ settings, boost, gain and master each channel.
- Special design transformers, individually selected components, each amp signed off by Steve Kimock personally.
- Dimensions: 20″ L x 10″ D x 12″ H / Weight: 41 Lbs.
- Price: $9000 Custom covering shown available at additional cost. Standard cabinet is black tolex.

Onyx
Onyx
The Onyx is our first amp to offer completely independent clean and lead EQ-from the front panel. The clean channel has incredible depth and chime, and you can dial in a variety of clean tones at ease. Once you’ve found your favorite clean, move to lead- and get mid boosted, bright, deep, scooped- whatever! And the gain available can range from the slight edge blues players crave, to high gain rock. In addition, independent reverb and presence controls allow further tailoring, and an adjustable boost feature is footswitchable and operates on either channel! Available in 50 or 100 watts.
Opal
Opal
The Opal is the most revealing instrument in the Two-Rock family. This amp is extremely dynamic, featuring a very fast response, incredible touch sensitivity, and famous Two-Rock tonal versatility for the discriminating artist and weekend warrior/tone freak alike! The dual-mode lead channel offers 2 independent lead voicings, offering the slightly more compressed lead tone(eq adjustments internal) of our classic Two-Rock amps, as well as the more open singing lead of the Custom.
It all started when K&M was invited to a boutique amp shootout in Northern California earlier this year. We brought two amps. One was our production line Emerald Pro along with a new prototype Bill Krinard (our never stop energizer designer) built from scratch on a short aluminum chassis affectionately referred to as The “Wood” Amp. The name is in reference to its enclosure, which is a cabinet grade, finger jointed, figured maple head cabinet, and for its refined organic tone. Different Tubes, different design, just different enough to blow everyone away! We were up against the best of the best and The Wood Amp was the secret sauce everyone talked about. Bill is always searching for something new, he constantly runs into the thick of our day with “Hey guys! Check this out!” We can hardly get anything done! But what an amp! He nailed it to the wall with authority. Never stop, Bill! What we learned from that one of a kind amazing amp has been integrated into our newest model- the Opal. Bill likes to call the OPAL “the wireless amp”. The reason is this: he has removed 75 percent of the wire needed to run an amp of this complexity by wiring the components DIRECTLY to their destination. This would be equal to changing from a 45 foot cord to having your guitar hardwired to the input of your amp! Then think of what would happen inside an amp! YOU have to hear this amp! This amp is fast, articulate with no harshness, smooth without being wimpy. Wider dynamic range, more sensitivity, more TONE! A new enhanced active and buffered post-return tube effects loop that is intregal to the tone and response of the amp, you have to hear this! The OPAL is available in a limited quantity and only comes in a 50 watt 6L6GC 12AX7 format. Any deviations from this are a custom order and will be priced accordingly. The OPAL Brilliant, Fiery, Deep, Precious !!! Try one today.

” This is an extension of my guitar! This isn’t an amp; it’s an instrument itself! Unbelievable. ”
Overdrive Signature
Overdrive Signature
The Overdrive Signature is truly a work of art, tonally speaking. Built on our long chassis platform with 100 watts, the OD Sig is a true performance amp. It’s preamp section is similar to the Custom Reverb Signature , but employs different control values for the EQ that are more open with greater sweeps. There’s additional negative feedback in the circuit, adding to the bloom. The sophisticated reverb circuit utilizes 3 tubes and features separate send and return controls for both the clean and lead channels. The lead channel on this amp is truly amazing, with the ability to go from a very smooth overdrive to a very aggressive lead tone (which tends to be a little more aggressive than the Custom Reverb Signature).
This amplifier’s clean channel incorporates many of the characteristics found in the Sterling Signature(limited production single channel clean amp, out of production), with the addition of a unique lead channel and the aforementioned separate reverb controls for both channels.
Quick Facts:
- 2 channel, cascading, SS Rectifier, 4 X 6L6, 100 watts.
- 4, 8, 16 ohm output, treble, middle, bass, bright, mid, deep, dual EQ settings, boost, gain and master each channel, contour control.
- Triple function LED footswitch for clean/lead, FET boost, and tone bypass.
- Accutronics all tube spring reverb with independent send and return controls for clean and lead channels.
- Buffered effects loop, FET stage in preamp with gain control, footswitchable.
- Special design transformers, individually selected components, each amp signed by Bill Krinard and Joe Mloganoski personally.

Studio 50-15
Studio 50-15
The goal from the start of this design was to offer a performance level amplifier with dual power settings and a familiar layout. This amp offers the player the ability to take the amp to the studio, the stage or to the bedroom. With its simple yet effective front end, unique implementation of its effects loop and two stage power supply, this amp offers a full range of sonic characteristics. The Studio 50/15 includes a dual stage power selection switch on the front panel called “HIGH” and “LOW” power. In HIGH power mode, the amp is in its normal state and similar to other performance level Two-Rock amps. Operating at a full 50-watt output level, the amount of clean headroom is maximized. To start clipping of the output stage, you have to fully open up the preamp. This setting will instantly feel similar to any of our clean platforms and add to the nature of a “Modern Hi-Fi” sounding amplifier. In LOW power, the amp is running at a considerably lower level of output power. This lower level reduces the total output to 15 watts. This might lead to the misconception that the amp should be significantly quieter. While there might be a slight reduction in DB, the larger and more noticeable aspect of the low power setting will be headroom. This reduced headroom will lead to a lower volume “sweet spot” if the goal is “clean” output. In the low power mode with no change to volume, the amp will instantly feel and sound more vintage. As the amp is turned up, it will tend to have more artifacts around the notes. This is due in large part, to the output stage being driven into clipping and the amp feeling as if it can be pushed around more. The result is a bit less hi-fi.
Power settings This amp has a 50 and 15 watt power regulation. The low power setting regulates the tube to only allow 15 watts of power before clipping. In the high power mode, it allows a full 50 watts of output power before clipping. This decrease in power is not related to volume or attenuat ion. The low power settings allow you to overdrive the output section of the amp.

Studio Pro 22/35
Studio Pro 22/35
Our best-selling series, universally praised for its extraordinary clean headroom, dynamics, and a variety of tone shaping options. Best described as a “portable” Classic Reverb/Custom Clean hybrid, it includes an added pickup loading feature that optimizes balance between single coil and humbuckers. A stellar reverb circuit with Send and Return controls, contour control and full buffered effects loop is standard on this amp.
The new Pickup Loading feature control has 5 settings, from no additional pickup loading to full loading. Loading the guitar pickup(s) to varying degrees changes the impedance relationship between the pickup and the first gain stage. Loading reduces inductive “ringing” in the pickup coils. The effect is a more controlled high frequency response and a reduction in high frequency artifacts produced when a pickup’s magnets and coils feed back with each other, usually at or near the pickup’s saturation point. The damping effect also reduces gain, which is normal. Tonally speaking, reducing these artifacts results in a cleaner waveform and lack of harshness in the upper frequencies.

We are proud to introduce an affordable, hand built amp with NOS tubes, reverb, series/parallel effects loop and unparalleled performance! This versatile 2 channel amp will take you through the full range of tube tones- from clean to gritty, all the way to superb overdrive-and all the tonal nuance, sweetness and life that has made our amps famous the world over. Available in 50 or 100 watts! This amp is a direct descendant of our popular Emerald 50 and Emerald Pro amps, with our classic Two-Rock lead tone!
Clean Channel:
Our clean channel features unique circuitry designed to bring you the clearest, most bell like chimey tone you’ve ever heard. Push it a little by increasing the gain setting, and you transcend smoothly and seamlessly into the tastiest overdrive around.
Cut/Boost:
Contours designed specifically for guitar.
Bright Switch:
Enhances highs without sounding brash or tinny.
Mid Switch:
Boosts the mid range frequency response.
Deep Switch:
Not just a bass boost, but a true EQ shift feature which lifts the bottom and low mids. Great for jazz or to fill out single coils for rhythm work without changing basic tone settings.
Tone Bypass:
This feature acts as a mid boost and adds some gain. Great for pushing the clean channel into a slight overdrive. This feature is also foot-switchable, allowing four completely different tone and gain settings.
EQ Switch:
This switch allows you to choose between 2 completely different equalization settings. EQ1 is a lower gain setting, with extended midrange and bass available when used in conjunction with the middle and bass controls as well as the deep switch. This setting is suitable for any style requiring a pure clean tone with anice round bottom and plenty of clean headroom. EQ2 is a higher gain setting, allowing a greater signal level to pass to the lead channel. This setting is suitable for any style requiring a clean to slightly distorted tone in clean mode, and more gain in the lead mode.
Lead Channel:
What can we say? This is what everyone’s talking about. The clearest, sweetest overdrive, sustain and harmonics-fully adjustable from slight edge/gain/overtones to a more compressed but harmonically rich tone-never harsh. Internal tone controls allow you to tailor the EQ to your tastes. Our philosophy is to set the EQ to make the lead channel an extension of the clean channel: to allow the player to seamlessly move from clean & chimey to overdrive. “Touch” players will especially enjoy this, as you can get that great clean tone with a light touch, and then dig in hard to really make the amp talk. Kicking in the front end bypass adds more mids and gain, adding yet another tonal option in lead.
Spring Reverb:
Lush, large and sweet — as spring reverb should be.
Effects Loop:
Equipped with a series only loop, tube-buffered, designed to actively enhance any outboard effects. It is engaged even without effects plugged in, adding warmth and increasing the dynamic touch sensitivity our amps are known for.
Presence Control:
Increases the high end response.
Footswitch:
Our 2-way footswitch controls both the lead/rhythm channel switch and mid boost/bypass (fully independent). We use ultra-bright LEDs that can even be seen when playing outdoors in direct sunlight!
TS1 (Legacy 2009)
TS1 (Legacy 2009)
We were in the process of designing a new amp when Taku Sakashita’s life was taken tragically. He had always wanted to make an amp called the “Tone Secret,” so to honor this incredible man and world renowned luthier, we introduce the TS-1. This amp debuted live on May 23rd, 2010, with Robben Ford, Boz Scaggs, Volker Strifler, and Tuck & Patty at a benefit concert for the Sakashita foundation. See the video HERE
With exceptional cleans and articulate leads, this amp has been catching eyes left and right.
